When sending artwork to Daley Business Printers, there are certain factors that will help to ensure the best quality artwork.

You should always try to send the original artwork or program document. The Program Document is the only format that allows us to make any changes to your work. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT--WHETHER YOU SEND YOUR WORK ON A ZIP-DISK OR THROUGH THE EMAIL. Below, we have listed several programs that we presently use to open original artwork:

  • QuarkXPress

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Adobe PageMaker

    Please keep in mind that although your program may not be listed, these programs contain filters that allow us to import several different types of files.

    If original artwork is not available, you can also send the following formats. Keep in mind that any changes that we need to make are very limited.

    Below are the formats we accept in order of desired type.

    1.TIF - Document at 300 DPI (dots per inch) or higher

    2.EPS - Document at 300 DPI or higher

    3.JPG - Document at 300 DPI or higher

    There are several products on the market that help to compress files, making them smaller and easier (not to mention faster) to transfer. If you need to compress large files, please call our Customer Service Department for tricks and more information on how to make this an easy experience.
